APRIL 4: NEW PERSPECTIVES ON NATURE CONNECTION

Speaker: Rich Collins, Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide

Spending quality time in nature is under pressure from our modern, fast-paced lifestyle. Faced with an overworked and highly stressed population, the Japanese government studied possible courses of action, and came up with ‘Forest Bathing’, a practice whereby people reconnect with nature through the senses. Based on a growing body of scientific evidence, the practice of Nature & Forest Therapy has become a global trend. New Perspectives: Nature & Forest Therapy looks at the many studies of its benefits and walks through what takes place on a guided walk.
