Do you know how honey is “made”? Have you ever heard the phrases “busy as a bee”, the “bees knees” or “bee line”? Stop by and get to know these critical critters. See a hands-on extraction of honey from the LBIF’s adopted hives with LBIF Beekeeper, Paul of Mothflower Apiary to learn how honey is created and harvested from the combs. Honey bees are absolutely vital to the production of our food supply and come to learn why. Admission is FREE! Just bring a honey or pollinator-inspired dish to share with other members of the community.
