Join yoga instructor and meditation teacher, Leah Healy, for a guided compassion meditation class in memory of those lost and for those still healing. During and long after tragedies such as 9/11, we are exposed to fear and anxiety that may increase our stress and deplete us. The practice of compassion meditation has been shown over time to help build our resilience to stress and to increase our capacity for empathy and positive feelings. It is a relaxing meditation that begins with compassion for ourselves and then extends to others. No meditation experience is needed to participate. Just comfortable clothes and an open mind.
