> Session 1 | Family Program, 10am-11am: Learn about the turtles of Long Beach Island and ways that we can help them. Bring your family to meet and interact with some of our local turtle species up close and personal.
> Session 2 | Adult Science Saturday, 11am-12:30pm: Join MATES as they focus on their continued efforts to understand the culture, history and perception of catching blue crabs at Barnegat Bay, NJ. Be a part of this Crabbing Responsibly at Barnegat Bay (CRABB) program.
WHAT ARE SCIENCE SATURDAYS?
Science Saturdays at the LBIF tackles today’s most pressing scientific, environmental, and sustainability issues that directly affect our shore community and the Barnegat Bay. Science Saturdays are interactive and informative hands-on presentations in an informal atmosphere.
