Recycling 101- Myth Busting the 3 R’s. and Closing the Loop. The words Reduce Reuse Recycle are in that order for a reason. 33 years into the mandatory recycling law in NJ—where are we? and how can you help shape the future? The power of purchasing and the mayhem of markets will be discussed through a global economic lens.

ABOUT: Angela Andersen

Angela is the Sustainability Coordinator for Long Beach Township on Long Beach Island- and is a Certified Recycling Professional ( CRP) and Sustainable Materials Management Professional in N.J. and president of the association of N.J. Recyclers. She teaches in the Rutgers Continuing education series for CRP and  has worked in the environmental field for over 30 years. Angela has pioneered resilience and sustainability work in her community over the past decade. She has been an active member of the LBIF Science Committee since its inception and lives in North Beach Haven with her two sons and husband of 25 years. She has a BS in Env Studies and a Masters in Env and Community.
