STUDIO SAMPLER SERIES: Alternate Photo Process: Cyanotype
No camera needed for this workshop! In this class, participants will draw with ink on acetate, then use these drawings to make cyanotypes (blueprints). The cyanotype process involves exposing specially treated paper to the ultraviolet light of the sun, resulting in a blue and white image. The approach will be experimental as students explore the range of blues that can be achieved through varying exposure times and layering the ink drawings.
*Materials fee $10, payable to instructor
