Plein Air with Joseph Sweeney
This four-day workshop with Joseph Sweeney explores LBI and the surrounding area with plenty of time to check out the beach and local restaurants. Instruction includes tips for painting efficiently outdoors by choosing a prime location, capturing the weather, and setting up a seascape palette. Instruction includes demonstrations and lectures on painting surfaces, materials, mediums, compositional drawing, and color studies. All media are welcome. Join us in our various art studios at LBIF for a weekly sampling of art mediums and methods taught by skilled professionals. The series includes techniques on painting, beading, paper-making, and much more! All skill levels are welcome.
