Members and non-members are invited to bring a pollinator inspired dish, drink or dessert to share at the honey harvest of the LBIF beehives by Mike Long of Uriah Creek Apiaries. Beachview Farms from Manahawkin will be onsite with a sampling of locally grown produce from their farm in Manahawin that also has Uriah Creek apiary hives on site.
Come for a finger lickin’, hands-on extraction of honey from LBIF’s adopted hives; share foods that are honey enhanced or pollinator supported; talk to local farmers who rely on hives for their harvest. Walk the LBIF grounds to see our pollinator friendly plantings and gardens. Take home pollinator friendly seedlings and buy some local honey.
