Jazz Concert & Cocktail Hour Series

Great jazz for everyone! LBIF presents national and international jazz artists in a fun, relaxed atmosphere where listening is learning. These evenings begin with wine or a signature cocktail and snacks. Sara Michaels, jazz vocalist and Harvey Cedars resident, gives an introduction to get the audience tuned-in to appreciate and enjoy the evening.

“What’s it All About”
A Tribute to Burt Bacharach & Dionne Warwick
Guests will hear songs like Alfie, What the World Needs Now, Valley of the Dolls, The Look of Love, I Say A Little Prayer, and many other familiar and not-so-familiar songs. The musicians will recount the relationship between Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick, as well as the many other singers like Dusty Springfield, Streisand, Marlene Dietrich, Elvis Costello & many others that Bacharach worked with throughout his amazing career that ran from the late 1950s through the 2000s, many in collaboration with popular lyricist Hal David.  Sharing the stage in this presentation will be the Dave Hartl Trio:  Musical Director, Dave Hartl on Piano, Andy Lalasis on Bass & Grant MacAvoy on Drums.
