Presented by The MakeShift Union + LBIF

The MakeShift Union will be hosting a meeting of Makers & friends here at LBIF featuring two showings of Just Beneath The Surface, live acoustic music from Phil Adams of PA Designz, and a full LBIF gallery of art by Stockton University professors & alumni!

One of the most important missions of The Makers Festival is fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among those participating. All those makers (past and present) are encouraged to attend and are welcome to bring guests.

THE FILM:

“Just Beneath the Surface” is a mini-documentary series focusing on the Long Beach Island Region as you’ve never seen it. Created by Jon Coen, of Black Sails Publications in collaboration with Oak Leaf Media, it portrays the best of the outdoors and cultural elements of this area through a new lens, telling stories with cutting edge, quality, high resolution, underwater, and aerial images. #beachcultureredefined

Food is provided by those attending, so please bring something for the communal table to share with the group. BYOB!

There will be two film showings at 8:00 and 9:00.
