Founded in 1981, the Pine Shore Arts Association is a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for artistic, cultural, and social development. About 20 of their members created the 71 paintings, plus one sculpture, featured in this exhibition. The pieces range in both medium and subject matter, although the shore influence is apparent in many of the works, including Linda Ramsay’s Old Beach Bike and Ship Bottom Sunrise, by Margaret Hartnell (pictured above). There will be a reception on February 17 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the LBIF – come and meet the artists while enjoying light refreshments. The gallery and reception are free and open to the public.
PLEASE NOTE: The LBIF is closed on Sundays.
The Pine Shores Arts Association and gallery are located at 94 Stafford Avenue in Manahawkin. For more information on their organization, visit www.pineshoreartsassociation.org.
