July 8th at 4:00 PM we will meet at the Foundation parking lot.
I will give a brief demonstration of the materials that I use for plein air painting. This will give us a chance to discuss the goals and objective of the workshop.
Workshop participants will select a vantage point near the Foundation to begin painting. I will visit each of you and offer critiques. 4pm until the set sets will enable us to paint during the “golden hour”.
Example: A goal of painting the setting sun will give us time to plan a composition. Some of the objectives will be to understand Value as a compositional element along with use of Color, Balance etc.
