Self-Care for the Modern Day Woman

with Sandra Bershad

Why is it that relaxation and rest are usually relegated to the weekends or vacation time? In today’s times, we often prize productivity over self-care. As women, we are traditionally thought of as the primary caregivers and nurturers of our families. We are often last to put ourselves first, and prioritizing our needs and desires are usually the last thing on our to-do list.

How can we maintain a healthy balance between caring for our ourselves and our careers, families, and relationships, without abandoning ourselves?

Through a combination of experiential exercises, meditation, and discussion we will explore powerful practices that will support us in transforming our relationship with stress, unworthiness, and overwhelm, and become empowered to learn how to care for and more fully love ourselves.
