 orizons to crashing waves\, discover how to\ncapture movement\, light\, 
 and depth with confidence. Bring your own reference images for inspirati
 on. Learn traditional watercolor methods to improve your painting skills
  and focus on the expressive power of the wet-on-wet technique to create
  fluid\, atmospheric seascapes. Learn how water\, pigment\, gravity and 
 timing work together to produce soft skies\, glowing horizons\, and beau
 tifully blended ocean washes.\nBIO\nBorn in Taipei\, Taiwan\, Chung-Fan 
 Chang’s work explores her Taiwanese and Chinese heritage\, displacemen
 t and Eastern aesthetic through painting\, works on paper\, video\, and 
 wall installation. Chung-Fan Chang was the recipient of the 2022 Individ
 ual Artist Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts\; 20
 13-14 Visual Arts Fellow of the Mississippi Arts Commission. Her “Kite
 ” series of work has been exhibited in galleries and museums nationall
 y and internationally. Selected solo and group exhibitions include the K
 ite XIII: Emarginate (2024) at the Monmouth Museum in Morristown\, NJ\; 
 A Building with a View: Experiments in Anarchitecture (2016) at the Cont
 emporary Art Center in New Orleans\, LA\; the Museum of Contemporary Art
  of Georgia in Atlanta\, GA (2013). Chang’s curatorial project Shiftin
 g Momentum – Abstract Art from Taiwan and the Noyes Collection\, was e
 xhibited at the Taipei Cultural Center in New York\, NY and Noyes Museum
  of Art in Hammonton\, NJ (2018). Chung-Fan Chang holds a BFA from Taipe
 i National University of the Arts\, and an MFA from Savannah College of 
 Art and Design. Chang is an Associate Professor of Art at Stockton Unive
 rsity in Galloway\, New Jersey
