Science Saturday – November 21, 2020 – Tracking Clinging Jellyfish:

The clinging jellyfish, Gonionemus vertens, is a small hydrozoan native to the northern Pacific Ocean. Its recent discovery in coastal New Jersey estuaries poses a potential safety concern to the public during normal, recreational uses of these waterways. It also highlights the vulnerability of our coastal waters to the establishment of nonnative wildlife.
