Catherine LeCleire

Catherine LeCleire was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. She attended Philadelphia College of Art (University of the Arts) and went on to graduate school at University of Southern California. While in California she taught at Otis Art Institute, California State University Dominguez Hills and California College of Arts. Catherine LeCleire is an Adjunct Professor at both Pratt Institute and Montclair State University; she teaches a variety of classes such as Silk Screen, Dynamic Printmaking, Book Arts, Painting Processes, and Photo Printmaking. at University of Southern She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally; The Printmaking Council of New Jersey, College of New Jersey, Ben Shahn Gallery. LeCleire’s work is in the collections of the Hunterdon Museum of Art, Lafayette College, William Paterson University, Printmaking Center of New Jersey, Brooklyn Library, Huntington Museum, and the Baku Museum in Azerbaijan. Besides exhibiting her work nationally and internationally, she has bound books for David Salle, Octavio Paz, Joan Mitchell James Brown and others.
