Yoga at LBIF

Restore and renew with a wide variety of yoga styles offered outside on the LBIF deck overlooking Barnegat Bay. Begin with a relaxing warm up, followed by breathing exercises and challenging, satisfying asanas. Located outside on one of our decks overlooking Barnegat Bay, this class will restore and renew you.
***Due to current health and safety precautions – PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MATS. First come, first serve. Class capacities will be limited to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Sarah C. Bond is a yoga practitioner and has over 350 hours of training as a Certified Yoga Instructor.  Completing training at Bright Spirits Teacher Training with Jillian Pransky and Carrie Parker at Devotion Yoga, Hoboken, NJ, and Laughing Lotus, New York City. She also completed a Yoga for Trauma certification with the Yoga Veterans Project. She has been teaching yoga for over 18 years. She has been an avid student of health and nutrition with a certification from Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City.   Sarah is Co-Founder of One Hundred Skies Yoga Adventures where she enjoys planning and hosting domestic and international yoga retreats for her students.

Cynthia Tarantino As an outdoor enthusiast, Cynthia brings her passion for nature to her classes, while weaving in breath work, alignment and yogaphilosophy to offer a moving meditation for practitioners of all levels. She completed a 250 hour teacher training with Laurie Green of YogaNine on LBI and a 300 hour training with Betsy Davis and Vanessa Nassif at Bhakti Barn in Millburn.  Cynthia is a Level III Reiki Practitioner, a Japanese form of hands-on healing and has trained with Jillian Pransky on deep relaxation in restorative yogaSending gratitude to my teachers and students, family and friends for daily inspiration and joy.

Stacy Wallace-Albert is a yoga practitioner with 350 hours of Kripalu Yoga teacher training. Stacy uses movement (asana), centering and breath to create classes that are accessible, challenging and joyful. In her profession as a personal stylist, Stacy encourages individuals to recognize and embrace the beauty inherent in every body.  Stacy lives in Hoboken and grew up with summers in The Dunes. She particularly loves LBI moonrises – in every season.

Arielle Ford found her love for yoga while searching for a way to cope with her anxiety and depression. Now 15 years later, she has found her true passion. With dreams of being an elementary school teacher, she has found that teaching yoga is just as rewarding. In 2017 she decided to continue her yoga journey by receiving her 200 hour training with Kevin Corey at Liquid Bliss in Harvey Cedars, NJ. A few years later, with the desire for more knowledge, she had found her way to Yoga Bohemia in Beach Haven, NJ to continue in the 300 hour program. Now with her 500 hour certification, you can find  Arielle on the  beach and in studio, restorative to all level, with children or the child at heart. She just loves to spread the love.

Full Moon Yin Yoga Workshops

Dates Thursday June 24 & Sunday August 22, 6:30pm

Join Arielle Ford for a beautiful evening under the rising Full Moon. With the beautiful sounds of live music this Yin Yoga class will take you on a journey through breath, gentle movement, and meditation. The final relaxation will include an optional spritz of essential oils. This solemn workshop will promote a deep sense of peace, wellness and relaxation. All levels are welcome.


Summer Reboot Class- Slow Flow & Deep Relaxation with Cynthia Tarantino

Yoga for Tennis Players with Sarah Bond

Join Sarah Bond for a one hour strength & stretch class to help with balance and flexibility to reduce injury. Emphasis  will be on the feet, shins, calves, achilles (lower body) and the fingers, hands, wrists and forearms, (upper body) and everything in between. All levels of tennis and yoga welcomed!

Barre combines Pilates, yoga and ballet moves to give you beautiful, sculpted lean muscles using small range movements. Channel your inner dancer, although no experience is required!

Mat Pilates involves exercises designed to align, lengthen, and strengthen the body in a unique way. This series helps clients develop true core strength and stability.

Resistance Band Training is designed to challenge full body functional movements as well as isolate specific muscles. RBT will sculpt your body and train it to move and feel better! This program will benefit one’s flexibility, mobility, coordination and much more!

Learn to surf with the professionals of LBI Surfing Academy! All equipment is included and our professional instructors will have you up and riding in your first class. Instructors work on your individual skill level. Surf with friends or meet new friends! *NOTE: Spaces are limited. Class registration must be done 48 hours in advance, no registration available at the beach. Surfboards and wetsuits included. Please note that a minimum of 4 participants is required for the clinic to run.
