This exhibition invites artists draw from underneath the surface in order to reveal a deeper vision of portraiture. Self or otherwise, the artist will intend to use presence of another person or object as an extension of traditional portraiture. Artwork selected can include but is not limited to drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, digitally created work, and 3D constructions that can be wall hung. Artwork that was created as a multiple through printmaking processes or photography will NOT be considered for this exhibition.
