This workshop focuses on teaching art to children with special needs. Participants will have an opportunity to create lesson plans and sample projects, while expanding on learning processes from the perspective of students with disabilities. Detailed discussions and teaching strategies will be shared specific to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive Mental Disorders, as well as Hearing and Visually impaired students. As part of the workshop, helpful literature and resources will be available.
