Tiny Tikes: Ages 3 - 4
An inviting and inspiring environment that offers everything a child needs to enrich time away from home and introduce learning quality life skills through stimulating activities. The morning includes unique art projects, group stories, games, nature walks and time on the playground. Artwork will be displayed on Fridays in the camp art exhibit.

Early Birds: Ages 5 - 6
Come together to make friends, while participating in unique art projects, group games, and time on the playground. Quality activities and art projects that stimulate learning and exploration are customized for this age group. Artwork will be displayed on Fridays in the camp art exhibit.

Creative Arts Camp (CAC): Ages 7 - 12
A creative experience blending individual and group projects to foster independence, confidence, and exploration. Campers rotate through themed stations daily, completing a project by week's end. Mediums include ceramics, painting, 2D art, and mixed media, with a new Visiting Artist each week guiding a specialty project. Artwork is showcased every Friday in the camp art exhibit.

Teen Arts + Portfolio Prep: Ages 12 - 16
Perfect for the beginning artist as well as the more advanced. Campers in this small group setting can explore their own artistic interests, while experiencing a variety of techniques and mediums surrounding our themes for the week. Our teen arts studio is housed in the LBIF Main Gallery building, allowing for immersion and exposure to our exhibitions. Student artwork will be displayed every Friday in the camp art exhibit.

Science + Nature Studies: Ages 7 - 9
Come experience the wonders of LBI with our Science Camp! The classroom serves as a home base for this class in nature exploration. Campers will have the opportunity to spend time on the bay, beach, and marsh learning about all of LBI’s local flora and fauna, with a different theme and focus each week. Our students have the opportunity to be a part of a one-of-a-kind experience unique to Long Beach Island.

Science + Marine Biology: Ages 10 - 12
Join us for a fun-filled week of exploration and discovery. This program provides field experience for young scientists to explore the ecology of LBI. Using the bay, beach, and salt marsh as a living classroom, students collect and classify specimens, test water quality, and learn all about the environment around them.

Full Circle Cheer Camp: Ages 7 - 12
WEEK 2
Join Kaitlyn Covert, former camper, current staff member, and 2x NCA national champion cheerleader with over 10 years of experience for a week of cheer, teamwork, and movement. This camp will focus on fundamentals, technical elements and dance routines and is suitable for all levels. Parents will be invited to a special performance at the end of the week. -
Theater Camp with Kathy Renna: Ages 8 - 13
WEEK 4
Mufasa: Join us for an exciting week of camp as we step into the PRIDELANDS universe of MUFASA and THE LION KING! Campers will journey through this legendary story alongside the powerful King Mufasa, the loveable Sarabi, Nala, Timon, Zazu, and Pumbaa, and the menacing Scar.
Led by award-winning director and choreographer Kathy Renna, campers will develop acting, movement, and voice skills while preparing for a special Friday performance. A Rutgers Theater Arts graduate, Ms. Renna has trained Broadway dancers, created the nonprofit Kathy’s Cable Kids, and dedicated her career to inspiring young performers through theater.

Contemporary Dance Camp: Ages 7 - 12
WEEK 5
Join LBI’s own Daria Raguseo for a week of friendship, self-expression, and movement! Contemporary dance blends ballet, modern, and jazz styles, connecting the body and mind through movement. Dancers will explore technique through floor work, release, and improvisation while learning to collaborate through choreography and creative play. Encouraged to move with curiosity and confidence, students will showcase their growth in a special performance at the end of the week.

Theater Camp with Kathy Renna: Ages 8 - 13
WEEK 6
Join award-winning director and choreographer Kathy Renna for an exciting week of theater as campers dance, sing, and act selections from WICKED! Through drama, movement, and voice production, children will develop confidence and creativity while preparing for a special Friday performance. Ms. Renna, a Rutgers Theater Arts graduate with extensive experience teaching Broadway dancers, has created and directed award-winning projects like It’s a Matter of Pride. Her Theater Arts Program fosters self-expression and storytelling, offering campers a chance to grow as young performers.

Beth & Scott's Music and Nature Adventure: Ages 5 - 6
WEEK 7
Beth and Scott, parents and musicians with 30+ years of working with young children, will invite your child to enjoy the outdoors and use it as inspiration for art, music, dance, and play. Campers will begin their day taking in the beauty and rhythms of the natural world, with engaging walks to the bay and along the LBIF nature trail.
Your child’s musical camp experience will continue with the remainder of the day filled with joyful singing, dancing, and playing percussion.

WEEK 8
Back by popular demand! Join Jessica Kilpatrick, from LoveArts, for another fun-filled and exciting week of The Nutcracker. Campers will spend another magical, fun-filled week bringing The Nutcracker to life. We'll dance our way through a festive holiday party, march alongside The Nutcracker as he battles the infamous Mouse King, twirl with the dazzling Snowflakes, and meet the iconic Sugar Plum Fairy, who welcomes us to the Land Of The Sweets.
Parents will be invited to a special performance at the end of the week.

Camper Tennis: Ages 4 - 16
Join fellow campers and make new friends with this great opportunity for exercise, skill-building, and fun! Tennis Camp is open to morning campers that would like to extend their day and develop or advance their tennis technique. Each week, the LBIF Tennis Pros will guide campers through skill-building games and drills with a focus on fun! Campers will be split into small age-appropriate groups based on ability level to allow for group interaction and individualized attention. No experience necessary!

Adventures in Clay: Ages 10 - 16
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (NO class Thursdays & Fridays) Adventures In Clay offers a hands on wheel throwing experience for artists ages 10-16. Artists will learn the stages of clay and the steps of throwing and trimming on the wheel through small group instruction. Underglazing, sgraffito and applique techniques will be taught when the pieces are off the wheel and ready. Once artists are happy with their creations they will put the final touch of clear glaze on, and their pieces will be ready to be fired in the kiln. Come prepared to get muddy as we will be throwing ourselves into our work! Wear closed-toe shoes and old clothes. Enrollment is limited to provide individual attention, so early registration is strongly encouraged. Materials included. Weekly Lesson Plan: Monday- demo throwing, artists begin throwing with support Tuesday- artists continue to throw pieces with continued instruction/support, pieces dry overnight/in the morning Wednesday- artists learn to trim pieces, as well as underglazing, applique, and sgraffito techniques, pieces are clear glazed if dry enough-if not dry enough instructor will clear glaze Thursday morning pre-firing Thursday- no class; kiln is being fired Friday- artists can bring pieces home
