2026 +Member+Student+Faculty Exhibition Application

Eligibility: Applicants must be a Member in good standing, a Student of a class from the 2026 Winter, Spring, or Summer Season, or a Faculty Member who has taught a class in 2026.
 
*APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, August 14, 2026
 
*DROP-OFF DEADLINE: Works must be delivered at the front desk on Sunday, August 16  between 9:30am – 3:00pm. Fee is $10 per piece to be paid at front desk when dropping off work. No refunds.
 
Guidelines:
  • Artwork mediums accepted: Painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, fine craft, jewelry, glass, fiber, sculpture and others.
  • Up to two works will be accepted by each artist, no larger than fitting into a 4’x4’ hanging area.
  • The display of work will be at the discretion of the LBIF Art Exhibition Committee. Due to open submission, the LBIF may not be able to display more than one piece in which case you will be notified.
  • All work must be wired and ready to hang. No saw tooth hangers. Frames are required where appropriate. NO WET PAINT! Please no glass in the frames; only plastic such as acrylic. All wrapping materials cannot be stored at the LBIF
  • The LBIF reserves the right to refuse any work deemed inappropriate for our venue.
  • Unsold works should be collected no later than Tuesday, Sept.8th, from 9:30am – 3:00pm.  Arrangements can be made to pick up work sooner.
  • The LBIF will not store work. Work that has not been picked up will be shipped at the artist’s expense ten days after the close of the exhibition unless other arrangements have been made. Any problems with the return of work must be communicated in writing within 7 days of the close of the show. If not picked up, after 60 days work becomes the property of the LBIF.
  • The LBIF will retain a commission of 40% of the retail sale price for works sold, made by Members, Students, and Faculty. The retail price cannot be changed once the work is submitted.
  • The LBIF strongly encourages the sale of artwork.
