Through my abstract “landscapes,” I focus on themes of inter/national violence by incorporating inert gunpowder residue with watercolor on acrylics to construct a critical mechanism. I create chaotic amalgams that often include symbolic flora to reflect the contemporary moment and my lifelong support of anti-violence movements.
