2024 WORKS ON PAPER

On view May 18, 2024 – July 8, 2024

On June 16, LBIF welcomed Dr. Conaty, Chief Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art, who presented the talk “Ruth Asawa Through Line,” as it relates to Asawa’s inquisitive approach to artmaking that guided the curatorial decisions in the associated recent retrospective exhibition at the Whitney.

Artists from 45 states submitted works for consideration. LBIF is pleased to showcase the work of 63 artists who live and work across 23 states. Conaty selected First, Second, and Third place prize winners, as well as three Honorable Mentions.

The Peggi Einhorn First Prize

Peggi Einhorn, a former LBIF Board member, enjoyed a life-long love for creating and studying art. Her family has established this annual prize for the Works on Paper exhibition in celebration of Peggi’s creativity, generous spirit, and uncommon grace.
