Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Barnegat Bay Day! Join us and The Center for Aquatic Sciences for a special, 45-minute session of hands-on touch table activities. Come meet a live starfish and horse shoe crab while learning how you can keep our oceans and marine life safe! Have a blast participating in activities and science-themed crafts, take a look at the terrapin garden, or join a guided tour on the LBIF nature trail to see our Osprey Blinds all while engaging with 10+ local environmental organizations. Designed for learners of all ages, the exhibits encourage curiosity, discovery, and a deeper understanding of the regionโ€™s unique natural environment through engaging, accessible experiences. Donโ€™t forget to grab a bite to eat from the on-site food truck or browse the Jetty Box Truck!

This event is free for all ages and open to the public! Registration is required.

The Center for Aquatic Sciences will offer three, separate sessions of their Life on the Reef program, located in the LBIF main gallery during Barnegat Bay Day. Space is limited, registration required. Registration for children ages 5-15 only.
