Come learn the process of Raku with Studio Manager/Fire Boss, Jeff and long time LBIF resident, Sandi as we cover the raku process from wet clay to finished work. We will create raku friendly vessels the first 2 weeks and fire the subsequent 4 weeks. Techniques covered will be Horsehair & Feather, Obvara, Crackle glazes, Copper glazes and Naked slip. Closed toed shoes and cotton clothing will be required on firing days.
