Collage or Decoupage? with Marijke Briggs

Fee $40/session

Get creative with Marijke Briggs as she guides you through the process of repurposing magazines, books, found objects and other 2-D materials into something entirely new! Participants will focus on creating a 2-dimensional collage or a 3-dimensional decoupaged object. You will learn a variety of techniques, composition and tools to be used while responding to examples presented & discussed. Participants can collect assorted materials to be used in projects; photographs, xerox copies, personal memorabilia, paper, fabric, envelopes, ribbon, cardboard, packaging etc. (including old collages you are willing to cut up/rework). If decoupaging, please provide a 3-D object, such as glass bottles, jewelry boxes, or even seashells! Materials will also be provided. $10 materials cost paid in cash day-of to instructor.
